Donation ceremony (Earthquakes in Türkiye and Syria)
On Monday, 27 February, a ceremony to present a description of a donation to assist with the damage caused by the earthquakes in the Republic of Türkiye and the Syrian Arab Republic was held in the Drawing Room of the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Mr. HOSODA Hiroyuki, Speaker of the House, handed the description of the donation to Mr. ITO Ayaki, Representative of UNHCR in Japan, and Mr. KAWAI Masayuki, Executive Director of Japan for UNHCR, with Mr. KAIEDA Banri, Vice-Speaker, and Mr. YAMAGUCHI Shunichi, Chair of the Standing Committee on Rules and Administration, also attending.
