Esteemed Colleague,
It is with deep shock and grief that we learned of the terrible toll in human lives, including a Japanese national, from the terrorist attacks in your country. Expressing our utter horror at the attacks, we resolutely condemn acts of terrorism like this that threaten world peace and democracy.
On behalf of the House of Representatives of Japan, I offer deepest condolences and most profound sympathy to all those affected, and sincerely hope for the recovery of those injured.
