On Wednesday 4 August, Mr. Ban Ki-moon, Secretary-General of the United Nations, in Japan at the invitation of the Government, visited the House and met with Speaker Yokomichi, Vice-Speaker Eto, Mr. Matsumoto, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Rules and Administration, and Members of the Parliamentarians’ League to Promote International Disarmament.
