On Friday 28 March, H.E. Dr. Sebastián Piñera Echenique, President of the Republic of Chile, in Japan at the invitation of the Government, visited the House and met with Speaker Yokomichi, Vice-Speaker Eto, Mr. Hidenao Nakagawa and Mr. Yoshitaka Murata, Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Japan-Chile Parliamentarians’ League of Friendship, Mr. Takeaki Matsumoto, former Minister for Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Shuji Kira, dispatched to Chile in 2010 as Ambassador on Special Mission to attend the inauguration ceremony of the President.
