President of the Romanian Senate visits Speaker Nukaga
On Friday, 27 June, Mr. Mircea Abrudean, President of the Senate of Romania, visited the House of Representatives and met with Mr. NUKAGA Fukushiro, Speaker of the House.
Speaker Nukaga began by welcoming Mr. Abrudean, in Japan to attend a National Day event for Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, and expressed hope that his visit to Japan would help enhance the two countries' relationship.
Mr. Abrudean responded by offering his appreciation for Japan's economic support to Romania. He then welcomed the tangible, steady progress being made based on the strategic partnership between the two nations in areas such as infrastructure and energy.
They also exchanged views on promoting investment from Japan to Romania and providing assistance to Ukraine.
