Proceedings of the House Plenary Sittings and Committee meetings are taken down in shorthand by stenographers. Minutes of the Plenary Sittings and Committee meetings are transcribed, checked and produced in printed form.
Currently, minutes are also produced by a computer-based automatic speech recognition system, instead of using stenographic notes.
In principle, the minutes are distributed to all the Members of the National Diet.
