Israeli Speaker visits Speaker Nukaga
On Tuesday, 26 August, the Hon. Amir Ohana, Speaker of the Knesset of the State of Israel, visited the House of Representatives with his delegation and met with Mr. NUKAGA Fukushiro, Speaker of the House.
Speaker Nukaga began by welcoming the delegation to Japan. He then expressed hope that their visit to Japan would help further exchange between the two countries' parliaments, including between the parliamentary friendship groups.
Speaker Ohana responded by offering his appreciation for the reception. He also expressed hope for deepening the bilateral cooperation in a wide range of areas, including politics, the economy, science and technology.
They also exchanged views on the situation in the Middle East.
