On Tuesday, 29 September, H.E. Mr. Nyam-Osor Uchral, Prime Minister of Mongolia, visited the House of Representatives with his delegation and met with Dr. MORI Eisuke, Speaker of the House, and Mr. ISHII Keiichi, Vice-Speaker.
Speaker Mori began by welcoming Prime Minister Uchral to Japan. Dr. Mori then expressed hope that the visit to Mongolia by Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress last year would help enhance friendship between the two countries and their people. He also indicated his hope for furthering parliamentary exchange between both countries, which has been active in recent years.
Mr. Uchral responded by offering his appreciation for Japan's continued support to Mongolia. He also stressed the importance of parliamentary exchange in strengthening the two countries' relationship and expressed hope for enhancing economic cooperation.
