Jordanian King visits Speaker Nukaga

On Tuesday, 11 November, His Majesty King Abdullah Ⅱ Ibn Al Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in Japan at the invitation of the Government, visited the House of Representatives with his delegation and met with Mr. NUKAGA Fukushiro, Speaker of the House.

Speaker Nukaga began by welcoming His Majesty to Japan. He then expressed hope for enhancing the close ties between the two countries, which marked the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations last year.

King Abdullah Ⅱ responded by offering his appreciation for Japan's years of considerable development assistance to Jordan. He also expressed hope that the countries' bilateral relations will further develop in a wide range of fields, including security and Japanese investment in Jordan.

They also discussed parliamentary exchange, regional issues and Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
