President of the Estonian Riigikogu visits Speaker Hosoda
On Tuesday, 27 September, Mr. Jüri Ratas, President of the Riigikogu, Estonia's parliament, visited the House of Representatives and met with Mr. HOSODA Hiroyuki, Speaker of the House.
Speaker Hosoda began by expressing his profound appreciation to Mr. Ratas for visiting Japan to attend the State Funeral of former Prime Minister Abe Shinzo. Mr. Hosoda welcomed exchange at multiple levels between the two countries and stated his hope for further parliamentary exchange.
Mr. Hosoda and Mr. Ratas exchanged views on the security environment as well as cooperation in areas related to ICT and cybersecurity. They also agreed to further foster bilateral relations.
