Prime Minister of Kosovo visits Speaker Hosoda
On Tuesday, 27 September, H.E. Mr. Albin Kurti, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, visited the House of Representatives and met with Mr. HOSODA Hiroyuki, Speaker of the House.
Speaker Hosoda began by expressing his profound appreciation to Prime Minister Kurti for visiting Japan to attend the State Funeral of former Prime Minister Abe Shinzo. Mr. Hosoda stated that moving toward the 15th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Kosovo in 2024, he will support further development of bilateral relations between the two countries by increasing parliamentary exchange. This could include dynamic activities by the parliamentary leagues of friendship.
The Speaker and the Prime Minister also exchanged views on bilateral economic cooperation and Expo 2025, which will be held in Osaka, Japan.
