Jordanian Prime Minister visits Speaker Nukaga


On Friday, 16 February, H.E. Dr. Bisher Hani Al-Khasawneh, Prime Minister of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in Japan at the invitation of the Government, visited the House of Representatives with his delegation and met with Mr. NUKAGA Fukushiro, Speaker of the House.

Speaker Nukaga began by welcoming Prime Minister Al-Khasawneh to Japan. He then stated that this year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries and that he appreciates that they are maintaining such close ties as strategic partners.

The Prime Minister responded by expressing his solidarity with those affected by the Noto Peninsula earthquake and offering his sympathies and condolences to them. He also extended his appreciation for Japan's support for the development of Jordan.

They exchanged views on the situation in Gaza as well.
