On Friday, 30 May, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, in Japan at the invitation of the Government, visited the House of Representatives with his delegation and met with Mr. NUKAGA Fukushiro, Speaker of the House.
Speaker Nukaga began by welcoming the Prime Minister to Japan. The Speaker expressed hope that this visit would help deepen the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries. He also stressed the importance of cooperating with Cambodia and other nations in the Indo-Pacific region for the stability of the area.
Prime Minister Hun responded by offering his appreciation for Japan's contribution to the development of Cambodia. He expressed hope for furthering exchange between not only both countries' governments but also parliamentarians through the activities of the parliamentary leagues of friendship, and for strengthening bilateral cooperation in the areas of security as well as the economy.
They also exchanged views on Cambodian technical intern trainees, Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, and promoting investment from Japan to Cambodia.
