On Tuesday, 8 June, a resolution condemning the military coup d’etat in Myanmar and calling for the swift restoration of the democratic political system, proposed by Mr. AISAWA Ichiro and five other Members, passed at the Plenary Sitting after Mr. Aisawa explained its intent. Mr. MOTEGI Toshimitsu, Minister for Foreign Affairs, then delivered the government’s view on the resolution.
