The Diet celebrates its 130th anniversary
Sunday, 29 November marked the 130th anniversary of the Diet. In the presence of Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress and Her Imperial Highness Princess Mako, a ceremony to commemorate the occasion was held in the Chamber of the House of Councillors, attended by the heads of the executive, legislative and judicial powers and by Diet Members of both Houses and other dignitaries.
