Esteemed Colleague,
It is with great sadness that I learned of the earthquake that hit the northern part of your capital city of Zagreb, causing injuries and the destruction of buildings including such historical structures as your parliament building amid the new coronavirus becoming a global pandemic and also affecting Croatia.
On behalf of the House of Representatives of Japan, I would like to express our sincere sympathy to the people of your country, and I pray for the swift recovery and reconstruction of the devastated areas.
