Esteemed Colleague,
I was deeply distressed to learn of the recent earthquake that hit the province of Izmir in your country, causing enormous suffering to so many of your people through the loss of many lives, numerous injuries, and the destruction of buildings.
On behalf of the House of Representatives of Japan, I would like to express our sincere sympathy and condolences for the victims, their families, and all those affected. I pray for the swift recovery and reconstruction of the devastated areas.
