Esteemed Colleague,
I was deeply saddened by the news of the earthquake that hit the central part of your country, causing enormous suffering to so many of your people through injuries, the loss of lives and the destruction of homes.
On behalf of the House of Representatives of Japan, I would like to express our sincere sympathy and condolences for the victims, their families, and all those affected. I pray for the swift recovery and reconstruction of the devastated areas.
