I was deeply devastated to learn of the collapse of a suspension bridge in Gujarat, bringing about enormous suffering for so many of your people through the loss of lives and with many people still missing.
On behalf of the House of Representatives of Japan, I would like to express our sincere sympathies and condolences for the victims, their families, and those injured. I pray for the fast progress of your rescue operations.
