On Tuesday, 1 February, a resolution regarding the serious human rights situation in Xinjiang Uighur and other areas, proposed by Mr. FURUYA Keiji and four other Members, passed at the Plenary Sitting after Mr. Furuya explained its intent. Mr. HAYASHI Yoshimasa, Minister for Foreign Affairs, then delivered the government's view on the resolution.
